Conference Tracks
The 8th edition of the conference will be organized around the following tracks:
- Thematic Tracks – A set of thematic tracks, corresponding to the topics of interest of the conference, will meet in parallel in the first day, to promote more focused discussions and a larger active participation of researchers and practitioners interested on that specific area. Each track will include the presentation of regular papers and possibly work in progress papers, keynotes and round-tables, as determined by the respective track chair. - ICT Verification and Validation
- ICT Process Improvement and Assessment
- Quality in ICT Service Management
- Quality in ICT Requirements Engineering
- Quality in ICT Evolution
- Quality in Model Driven Engineering
- Quality in Agile Methods
- Quality in Cloud Computing
- Quality in Web and Mobile Engineering
- Quality in Web Engineering (merged into “Quality in Web and Mobile Engineering” track)
- Quality in Mobile Engineering (merged into “Quality in Web and Mobile Engineering” track)
- ICT Quality and Business Intelligence (canceled)
- Main Track - Running on the second and third days of the conference, it will include keynote speakers and extended paper presentations selected among the best papers of the thematic tracks.
- Industrial Track - Running on the first day of the conference, in parallel with the SEDES and Thematic Track, and on the second and third days, in parallel with the Main Track, it may include the presentation of industry papers, special presentations from conference sponsors, round-tables, birds-of-a-feather sessions, etc.
- Tutorials - Offered during the fourth day of the conference, after the Main Track and the Industrial Track, they will provide an excellent opportunity for practitioners to meet and learn with world class experts.
- Doctoral Consortium - Meeting in the first day of the conference, a doctoral consortium of Portuguese software engineering students (SEDES) will provide an opportunity for doctoral students to present and discuss their thesis work with faculty and peers and network with other researchers in the field.
- Tool Demos - Organized in the scope of the Industrial Track, we intend to have selected tool demonstrations by conference participants and conference sponsors running during the coffee breaks.
